In our second installment of Purpose Planning's employee spotlight we are talking about one of my most favorite people: ME! Haha! I've worked for Jennifer for many years now and I've spoken to most of you at one time or another, but here's just a little bit more about me.
Where are you from?
Colorado! I've lived here almost my whole life and I think it's the most beautiful state in the country.
What is your claim to fame?
My great uncle is Max Noel. He is one of the famous FBI agents who caught the Unibomber. He tells the best stories.
What food do you hate?
Bakery items from Walmart. Just, no.
What is your super power?
I'm really good at communicating clearly and setting/keeping boundaries with people. Boring, I know.
Favorite travel spot?
Anywhere with a beach. The irony is that while I absolutely love sunny weather, it does not love me. I'm a delicate flower, and I start to wilt almost immediately.
What goal do you hope to accomplish before the end of 2020?
My motto for this year has been and is to SLOW DOWN. The last few years have been incredibly busy, and I've been working on slowing the pace of my life and my own mind. The quarantine has actually been a blessing for me in this way. We've all been forced to take a chill pill.
What do you like to do in your free time?
I'm a crazy plant lady. I have an obscene amount of house plants (the pictures above are just a sampling). I'm constantly fretting over them. I think it drives my husband a little crazy. One of my dearest friends gave me a fiddle leaf fig for Mother's Day and I felt like I won the lotto.
Describe your perfect day.
Hiking with my husband and kids followed by a date night to a new restaurant or brewery.
Stay safe, stay healthy and stay the course.
