How is the Coronavirus Effecting Purpose Planning?

March 19, 2020

The COVID-19 situation has very rapidly grown to effect almost every aspect of our daily lives. Social distancing, strains on our healthcare system and negative economic impact are dominating the headlines. Businesses are trying to quickly create contingency plans to deal with today’s unprecedented limitations.

We want you to know that we too are taking the COVID-19 situation very seriously and we are making modifications where necessary. However, our day to day business has NOT been greatly impacted. Over the last couple of years, we have told you a lot about the changes we have made to the way we do business. Our office is as close as you can get to paperless. We all have the ability to work remotely without sacrificing technological safety and security. All of these efforts have afforded us the ability to keep things moving as normal. We are NOT spending time worrying about how to keep things going. We ARE spending time focusing on how the rapidly changing market and economic conditions effect you.  You are, and always will be, our primary focus.

Changes That Effect You

One modification to our normal day to day operation has been an issue we are experiencing with our phone system. The phone is not ringing through to us and is forcing clients to leave a message. Please know that we are all working our normal hours and checking messages regularly.  We are working on this issue and your patience, understanding and well wishes are greatly appreciated.

A second modification is that we are trying to schedule all client appointments remotely using Zoom Video Calling. We have been using Zoom with clients for quite some time and we have found that many clients have embraced it because of its simplicity and ease-of-use. You can use it with any device that has a camera: your cell phone, tablet or computer. We can even use this on your computer if you do not have a camera.  We are happy to walk you through this system and help you get it up and going.

As this situation continues to evolve in the coming weeks and months we will continue to modify when necessary. We all look forward to the day when we get to see your smiling face in person.

In the meantime, stay safe, stay healthy, and stay the course.
