One of the reasons we love working with women is that they have a different set of challenges from their male counterparts. Often times, women are paid less and work fewer years but live longer and are responsible for caring for not only children or grandchildren but also aging parents or grandparents.
That's a whole lot of pressure.
It is common for women to spend so much of their energy focusing on taking care of others that when it comes time for someone to take care of them, they are unprepared. As I have said before, women are one of the largest under-served people groups when it comes to long-term financial planning.
The good news is that there are all sorts of solutions available that can help meet the needs of aging women. The even better news is that you don't need to necessarily be an "aging woman" to start planning.
Women of all ages should be thinking about and planning for their own care.
Attached here is a very good guide provided by Lincoln Financial Group® that reviews common problems and solutions for women regarding long-term care. Please take a look at it and give us a call to discuss how we can help you prepare for the future.
